Frog Jipson’s work uses fantasy art to construct
immersive worlds that offer comfort and a sense
of familiarity, while still embracing a whimsical,
magical quality. Drawing on Gothic influences,
such as 14th-century architecture, rose windows, and
subtle darkness layered with romanticism, pieces
transform common experiences into something
enchanted and visually compelling. At the core of their
practice is a focus on healing, using imagined realms to
explore themes of growth and transformation. Having interrupted parts of adolescence, Jipson is especially
drawn to the magical and the whimsical, intentionally
weaving these elements into their work to process and
move forward. Fantasy, for this artist, is not merely an
aesthetic choice but a meaningful tool; one that has
supported personal growth and continues to shape their
creative direction, with the hope that their work might
offer a similar sense of reflection or comfort to others.
